In honour of International Independent Video Store Day, here’s part one of my conversation with Luis Ceriz, owner of the legendary Suspect Video and Culture in Toronto.

At the end of 2016, Suspect will permanently close its doors, thus obliterating a beloved cultural landmark and one of the most precious libraries of rare and unusual videos in the entire country.

Between now and then, they’re having some crazy closing sales so get down there and see what you can dig out of their vast archive of Blu-rays, DVDs and VHS tapes.
